bundle of nerves...

i can't believe it, but it's finally here...

my DH will be home in a few days for his 2-week leave time from Iraq, and i'm just a big bundle of nerves!!!

i'm so excited that i might use the bathroom on myself, yet i'm scared half out of my mind...

it has been since Christmas that i've seen my husband...so much has changed, and i've had to relearn how to be single, except this time i'm also married...it's a weird combination to be sure

yet the Lord has somehow brought me a million times closer to my husband...i don't know how, because there have been days that i've felt like giving up altogether...i'm also amazed by how quickly and slowly the time has gone by...some weeks felt like they would last forever, and other weeks felt like they would never end

i am praying SO hard about this short homecoming time we have with one another

would you please pray for us as well? that Jesus would bless this time for us, that the time would go by slowly, that my husband would have true rest for his weary body and soul, and that he would be refreshed as he returns to Iraq to prepare for the downhill side of their return? thank you so much!!!
